HANUT ATLAS: A New Chapter for Community Development in Ain Drahem

The HANUT ATLAS project is now fully operational in Ain Drahem, ready to welcome its first clients and transform the economic and social life of the region. Initiated by the Tunisian Association for Leadership, Self-Development, and Solidarity (ATLAS), in collaboration with DVV International, HANUT ATLAS represents a significant advancement in supporting adult education and local development.

Three Agricultural Development Groups (GDA) have been transformed into centers of excellence, equipped not only to meet the needs of their members but also to promote local products in the regional and broader markets. Recent transformations of GDA infrastructures have created modernized spaces serving as meeting, working, and exhibition venues. Each center is equipped to conduct advanced training sessions in digital marketing, marketing techniques, and packaging, enhancing the skills of GDA members and their ability to market their products effectively.

A dedicated online platform on ATLAS's website now showcases and markets GDA products virtually, providing increased visibility and access to new markets through integrated digital tools.

Simultaneously, the renovated spaces are ready to host local events, product exhibitions, and networking sessions. These initiatives aim to strengthen community bonds, encourage exchanges among GDA members, and create collaboration opportunities with local partners.

HANUT ATLAS embodies an innovative model of social and solidarity economy, where economic development goes hand in hand with strengthening individual and collective capacities. By investing in adult education and promoting local products, ATLAS is committed to revitalizing Ain Drahem economically and enhancing the quality of life for its residents.

With the successful launch of the project and the establishment of new infrastructures, optimism prevails among GDA members and the local population. HANUT ATLAS not only represents a tangible opportunity for economic growth but also stands as a testament to ATLAS's ongoing commitment to sustainable and inclusive development in Ain Drahem.

The doors of HANUT ATLAS are open, ready to welcome clients and mark a promising new chapter for Ain Drahem and its vibrant community.
